Become a Marine Service Technician—

Applications are now open for the 2025/2026 program.

Requirements:

  • 18+ at the start of the program

  • Able to have consistent attendance

  • Have access to a reliable form of transportation to and from the Spaulding Marine Center even in inclement weather

  • Ambition, perseverance, and initiative

  • Be physically able to operate heavy machinery, stand for extended periods of time, lift 50+ pounds overhead

  • Ability to work independently and in teams with and without supervision

Dates & Deadlines:

  • Applications are accepted on a Rolling Basis until April 30th at midnight PST. Please apply sooner rather than later.

  • Boatworks 101 Open House: April 12th

  • Interviews: May 4th, 5th & 12th

  • Workshop Day: May 18th

  • June 2025: Decisions will be released

  • Program Begins: August 18th, 2025
